Frequently asked questions
Are frames included?
No. JYS Photos prints are supplied as unframed photographic prints, giving you the freedom to choose a frame and mount that suit your space.
Do the prints have a white border?
No. Every photograph is printed borderlessly, so the image fills the complete A4 or A3 sheet from edge to edge.
Will the framing match the image preview exactly?
The original photographs use a 3:2 aspect ratio, while A4 and A3 paper use the slightly different A-series ratio. To fill the paper from edge to edge without distortion, a small amount may be trimmed from the sides of a landscape image or the top and bottom of a portrait image. The crop is positioned to preserve the photograph's main subject, but the final framing can differ slightly from the on-screen preview.
Which print sizes are available?
Prints are currently available in A4 (210 × 297 mm) and A3 (297 × 420 mm). The available sizes and current price are shown on each photograph's product page.
Which photographic paper is used?
Prints are produced on professional Canon Pro Luster LU-101 260 gsm photo paper. Its smooth satin lustre surface is selected for vivid colour, rich contrast, fine detail and a professional photo-lab appearance without the strong shine of full gloss.
Which inks are used?
Genuine Canon LUCIA PRO pigment inks are used for detailed tonal reproduction and strong fade resistance. A dedicated Chroma Optimizer helps reduce bronzing and supports a more consistent finish across the photograph.
Is delivery included?
Yes. Standard delivery to UK addresses is included in the displayed print price, so no additional delivery charge is added at checkout.
