From order to delivery

When to expect your print

Prints are prepared individually before being securely packaged and handed to Royal Mail. The estimates below begin once payment has been confirmed.

  1. Stage 1

    Print and quality check

    Allow approximately 3–5 working days for your print to be produced, checked and packed.

  2. Stage 2

    Protective packaging

    Your print is sent flat in a rigid hard-backed brown envelope clearly marked “Do Not Bend.”

  3. Stage 3

    Royal Mail delivery

    Most orders use Royal Mail Tracked 48, which aims to deliver in 2–3 working days after dispatch.

Estimated total time: 5–8 working days. This combines preparation and Royal Mail's delivery aim. It is an estimate rather than a guaranteed arrival date.

Planning for your order

Dispatch times

The 3–5-working-day preparation estimate starts on the next working day after payment is confirmed. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. If an unexpected production issue is likely to delay dispatch, I will contact you using the details supplied with your order.

Carrier and tracking

Most print orders are sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Royal Mail aims to deliver this service within 2–3 working days, although some postcodes, seasonal peaks, severe weather and service disruption can take longer. Tracking information will be provided when it is available for your order.

Delivery address

Please check the delivery address carefully during secure checkout. If you notice an error, contact JYS Photos as soon as possible. An address cannot normally be changed once the order has been handed to the carrier.

Delayed or missing orders

If your estimated delivery window has passed, check the tracking information first. If you still need help, contact JYS Photos with your order reference so I can investigate the delivery with Royal Mail.
